49ers Sign Jauan Jennings to a Two-Year Contract Extension Worth Up to $15.4 Million

49ers extend Jennings’ contract through 2025 season

The San Francisco 49ers have signed wide receiver Jauan Jennings to a contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2025 NFL season. The new deal is worth up to $15.4 million over the next two seasons, with $10.5 million guaranteed.

Jennings has been a valuable part of the 49ers’ offense, particularly on third down, and has compiled 78 receptions for 963 yards and seven touchdowns in his career so far. He caught 19 passes for 265 yards and one touchdown last season, with 40 of those catches coming on third down and 32 resulting in a first down. Despite not participating in the first week of organized team activities, Jennings has been present at practice sessions this week.

With Jennings locked up, the 49ers still have one crucial task left this offseason: securing a contract extension for fellow wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Keeping both Jennings and Aiyuk in the receiving core will be essential for the team’s success as they look to build a competitive roster for the future.
