Guinness World Records recognized him as the oldest man in the world on February 4, 2022, when he was 112 years and 253 days old. In his lifetime, Mr. Mora achieved numerous accomplishments and witnessed significant historical events such as both World Wars, the invention of television, and the moon landing.
Mr. Mora attributed his longevity to a simple lifestyle that included hard work, rest, early bedtimes, a daily glass of aguardiente, and his strong faith in God. He was a father of 11 children who cherished their family traditions dearly. As a sheriff known for resolving disputes in his community, Mr. Mora exemplified humility and dedication to serving others.
