AIC24WC: The Unique Journey of the T20 World Cup Champions From Barbados to Delhi

Reports suggest that the flight tracker is on for AIC24WC, which will fly the T20 world champions Team India from Bridgetown to Delhi.

An Air India aircraft with the call sign AIC24WC is scheduled to transport the T20 World Cup champions, India, from Barbados in Bridgetown to New Delhi. The aircraft will first fly from New Jersey to Bridgetown where the team will board the flight. The Indian media, which was covering the T20 World Cup in Barbados, will also be on board as a special arrangement made by the BCCI to help stranded mediapersons return home.

Due to Hurricane ‘Beryl’, Barbados experienced flight cancellations and temporary closure of the Grantley Adams International Airport. However, India emerged victorious in the T20 World Cup final at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown on June 29. The flight AIC24WC is expected to land in Barbados at approximately 2 am local time on July 1, with the team scheduled to depart at 4:30 am local time.

The flight from Barbados to Delhi is estimated to take around 16 hours without any additional delays. If everything goes according to plan, the team will arrive in Delhi on Thursday at 6 am Indian Standard Time (IST). Originally, the team was supposed to depart from Barbados at 6 pm local time on July 2 with an arrival time of 7:45 pm (IST) on Wednesday but due to weather disruptions, their schedule had to be revised.
