American Vision Auto Owner Jessie Guadalupe Montes is currently being searched for by authorities in Houston. He is accused of defrauding customers in his car restoration business, allegedly stealing over $100,000 from them. Court records indicate that Montes deceived multiple customers by taking money for work that was never completed or vehicles that he did not actually own. However, it is believed that there may be additional victims beyond the ones Montes is currently charged with.
This is not the first time Montes has faced charges for similar offenses. He has a pending case in Lake Charles, LA and a history of theft-related charges in Fayette, Austin, and Waller Counties. Those who have had dealings with Montes or American Vision Auto are encouraged to reach out to KPRC 2’s Bryce Newberry at Bnewberry@kprc.com.
