Apple Intelligence: Revolutionizing AI Features with Real-Time Understanding and Correction in Siri, Personalized Emojis, and Image Playground

Apple’s New AI Features Unavailable to 90% of iPhone Users

Apple has recently announced the launch of its new artificial intelligence (AI) tool, called ‘Apple Intelligence’, at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024. The set of AI-based features aims to make devices smarter and more useful for users. However, not all Apple users will have access to these new tools as only iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will receive them. This leaves over 90% of Apple users without access to the technology.

The company explained that the processing capacity required for the new AI functions is high, which is why the technology is limited to specific models with A17 processors or higher. The new AI features will not be available in Spanish until at least 2025 and will only be accessible on English-speaking devices first. Models with M1 processors or higher will benefit from ‘Apple Intelligence’ on iPads and Macs.

One of the significant improvements in ‘Apple Intelligence’ is Siri, which now has real-time understanding and correction of instructions, deeper integration with the operating system, and the ability to interact via text. Other features include composing and correcting text in applications, creating personalized emojis with Genmoji, and generating images with Image Playground.

In addition to these functionalities, ‘Apple Intelligence’ can transcribe and summarize phone conversations, emails, and notifications. The technology aims to enhance user experience and productivity by leveraging AI capabilities to provide intelligent assistance to Apple users.

Overall, while not all Apple users will have access to ‘Apple Intelligence,’ those who do stand to benefit significantly from the improved functionality offered by this new set of AI-based features.
