Gillingham signs AFC Wimbledon midfielder Little

Armani Little, a 27-year-old midfielder who scored four goals for AFC Wimbledon this season, has joined Gillingham as a free agent. Little, who made 44 appearances for AFC Wimbledon this season and was considering a new deal with the team, opted to move on to Gillingham.

Little began his career at Southampton and gained recognition during his time at Torquay United. He later joined Forest Green Rovers before going on loan to Wimbledon in January 2023 and making a permanent move last summer.

Gillingham manager Mark Bonner expressed his excitement about Little joining the team, praising his abilities on the field. Bonner believes that Little will bring a balance to the midfield, showcasing his skill in handling the ball and passing. He also highlighted Little’s character, mentioning that he has a personality that will be well-received by everyone in the team.

Bonner is confident that Little’s presence will contribute to helping Gillingham achieve their goals as a team. With his impressive track record of scoring goals and his ability to handle pressure in high-stress situations, Little is sure to be an asset to the Gillingham squad as they look to compete for promotion next season.
