Back-to-School Health and Wellness Fair at Priority Health Care’s Pediatric Clinic: Promoting a Healthy School Year Ahead with Vaccinations, Sports Physicals and Fun Activities for Kids

Priority Health Care’s Pediatric Clinic is hosting a Back-to-School Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, July 27th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the clinic located at 12 Westbank Expressway. The event aims to ensure that students are prepared for a healthy school year ahead.

Dr. Anna Villanueva, a nurse practitioner at PHC’s pediatric clinic, highlighted the importance of wellness exams and vaccinations before students return to school. This proactive approach will help keep students healthy and prevent the spread of germs in the school environment.

In addition to sports physicals and vaccinations, PHC will offer a range of activities for kids to enjoy at the fair. These activities include carnival games, face painting, movies, music, refreshments, and snowballs to mark the end of summer. It’s worth noting that there will be no out-of-pocket costs for attending the fair. Whether you have health insurance or not, you will not be turned away. However, if you are insured, make sure to bring your insurance card to the event.
