Chrissy Swift, a Health Educator at the Rogers County Health Department, emphasized the importance of businesses participating in programs like Work@Health. By investing in employee well-being, companies can use these initiatives as a recruitment and retention tool. Swift explained that having such programs shows employees that their employers care about their health and well-being.
Businesses in district 4 counties, including Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, Wagoner, and Washington, have the chance to participate in a two-day training program later this month. Interested businesses should contact the Rogers County Health Department for more information on how to get involved.
