Liora, a 61-year-old woman originally from China who has been battling stage 4 brain cancer for years, has been actively involved in the campaign for the safe return of her daughter Noa since her abduction. Despite facing many challenges, she continues to attend interviews, write letters to world leaders, and advocate for every possible effort to secure her daughter’s release. In a recent interview with Yaakov, Noa’s father, leading up to the Seder night they had to spend without Noa, Liora shared her deep sense of loss and the complexities of their situation.

In a poignant interview with Yaakov, Liora expressed her unwavering hope for Noa’s return, even as her own health deteriorated. She reached out to US President Joe Biden, acknowledging the complexities of the situation but still seeking as much assistance as possible. In a heartfelt letter to Biden last December, Liora pleaded for the chance to reunite with her daughter before her health deteriorates further. Despite being ill and facing numerous challenges in their quest to bring their daughter home safely, Liora remains resolute in her efforts.
