In Laredo, SCAN, also known as Serving Children and Adults in Need, is at the forefront of providing help for mental health awareness. They offer evidence-based prevention, intervention, and treatment services with a caring staff.
One of SCAN’s projects, the Frontera HIV and Mental Health Expansion Project, provides free walk-in HIV/HEP C testing every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Their office is located at 1605 Saldana Ave. and you can contact them at (956) 568-7105 for more information.
