The Brooklyn community in Forrest County, Mississippi is organizing a Health & Resource Fair in collaboration with Southern Mississippi Planning and Developing District (SMPDD) to focus on the health of the senior community. This fair will take place at the Brooklyn Community Center on April 18th from 10 a.m. to noon.
At the fair, seniors will have access to free health screenings, community resources, and aging services provided by SMPDD. Forrest County Board President Terri Bell expressed her hope that this event will show residents that the county cares about their health and well-being.
