The world’s largest Buc-ee’s location opened its doors in Luling, Texas early Monday morning. Spanning over 75,000 square feet and offering 120 fuel pumps, this location surpasses the second largest Buc-ee’s in Sevierville, Tennessee by a margin of 293 square feet.
This opening also marks Buc-ee’s 50th location across Texas and the South. Stan Beard, Buc-ee’s Director of Real Estate and Development, expressed excitement about opening the world’s largest Buc-ee’s in Texas and celebrating with the people of Luling. The new location replaces the first ever Buc-ee’s travel center that was built in Luling in 2003.
Luling, located between Austin and San Antonio, now boasts the world’s largest Buc-ee’s store, a significant milestone for the popular gas station chain. Just a year prior, a world’s smallest Buc-ee’s art installation appeared in Sanderson, Texas, reflecting the brand’s widespread influence across the state.
