In Youngstown, Ohio, on the East Side, a shipping container that served as both a restaurant and storage unit was the target of a burglary last week. At around 10 a.m., the owner arrived to find the container vandalized and discovered that $150 worth of ribs had been stolen, along with several bottles of syrup and three headsets with microphones.
According to reports, eighteen racks of baby back ribs were taken from the container, which was also found to have buns and cheese sauce scattered outside. A DVR was tampered with, prompting police to be called out to investigate. The beer can found at the scene led the department’s Crime Lab to be called out in order to search for and collect evidence.
