Car Crashes into Jacksonville CrossFit Gym, Leaving Two Injured and Residents Shaken

Two individuals injured in Murray Hill after car collides with business

On Sunday morning, a car crashed into First Coast CrossFit on Edgewood Avenue in the Murray Hill area of Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred early in the morning, and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the scene. Two injured individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment, with one sustaining serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Residents in the area expressed shock over the incident, with one resident, Paul Marshall, mentioning that cars often speed through the neighborhood to access I-10. He noted that while fast driving is common in the area, he did not believe the crash was intentional. Marshall stated, “Sadly, it is a residential neighborhood with people going quickly to get onto I-10. Sometimes people forget that the I-10 in Roosevelt do not continue onto arterial roads and go quite quickly.”

The exact cause of the crash is currently unknown, and authorities are investigating the incident. Updates on the situation will be provided as more information becomes available. Copyright for this news report is held by WJXT News4JAX.
