Cardinals Prepare for Training Camp as Kelvin Beachum Readies for 68th Spot on Roster

68 days until the Cardinals face off against the Bills in the season opener

As the start of the 2024 NFL regular season approaches, the Arizona Cardinals are preparing for training camp. In just three weeks, the team will report for camp in anticipation of their Week 1 road game against the Buffalo Bills on September 8, a mere 68 days away. On the Cardinals’ roster at No. 68 is tackle Kelvin Beachum, a vital player who has been with the team since 2020.

Beachum has played an essential role in the Cardinals’ success, serving as their primary backup swing tackle. He initially signed a one-year deal in 2020 and started all 16 games at right tackle. In 2021, he re-signed on a two-year deal and started 15 games at right tackle before transitioning to left tackle later in the season. Although he became a backup in 2023 after re-signing on a two-year deal, Beachum was named the Cardinals’ Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2021 for his outstanding contributions to both football and charity work.
