During the premiere of the documentary “Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion” in Los Angeles, she expressed her plans for her birthday celebration. Cher shared with Entertainment Tonight and E! News that she intends to celebrate by putting a pillow over her head and screaming, showing her reluctance to turn another year older.
This is not the first time the iconic singer has spoken out about aging. In a 2020 interview with The Guardian, Cher admitted that she dislikes getting older, citing the changes in her lifestyle as she has aged. Despite this, Cher vowed during a “Good Morning Britain” appearance that she will continue to wear jeans and keep her long hair, even when she reaches the age of 80.
During a Today interview in November 2023, Cher expressed that she would do anything to be 70 years old again, showing her reservations about reaching the milestone of 78. Her representatives have not made any comments on her upcoming birthday or her thoughts on aging.
