Meanwhile, talks have reportedly broken down with Klay Thompson about his future with the team, making him an unrestricted free agent as well. Thompson is expected to meet with various teams, including the Lakers, Clippers, Mavericks, and 76ers as he explores his options in free agency.
Paul’s departure from the team marks another significant change for the Warriors after losing Kevin Durant during last year’s offseason and trading Draymond Green earlier this season.
