The Cowboys recently completed their mandatory minicamp, marking the end of their on-field offseason work. On Tuesday, they announced the signing of second-round pick Marshawn Kneeland, who has now become the eighth player to sign a four-year rookie contract with the team.

Throughout his college career at Western Michigan, Kneeland started 23 games on the edge of the defense and accumulated impressive statistics. He tallied 148 tackles, 27.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, three passes defended, and three forced fumbles. With his addition to the Cowboys defense, he will join Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Sam Williams as edge rushers.

With all of their draft picks officially on board, the Cowboys can now shift their focus to training camp as they prepare for the upcoming season. The signing of Kneeland ensures that they have a full roster as they continue their preparations for the season ahead.
