The Czech Republic has announced their provisional squad for the upcoming European Championships in Germany. Captain Tomas Soucek, who has 68 caps under his belt, will lead the team. Vladimir Coufal, who was sent home in November, has regained his place in the squad.

The Czech Republic made it to the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 before being knocked out by Denmark. In this year’s competition, they will begin against Portugal before facing Georgia and Turkey in Group D matches.

The squad includes goalkeepers Jindrich Stanek, Matej Kovar, and Vitezslav Jaros, as well as defenders Ladislav Krejci and Vladimir Coufal. Midfielders such as Tomas Soucek and Antonin Barak feature alongside forwards Patrik Schick and Adam Hlozek.

The team includes players from Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga and German Cup-winning team.
