Visit The Science Mill in Johnson City this summer for a unique and educational experience on sharks during Shark Week. From July 20-21 and July 23-28, young scientists will have the opportunity to learn about the ocean’s apex predator, their environmental impact, and various careers related to studying and protecting sharks.

Exciting activities include shark and squid dissections, a shark game show, special guest Matt “The Shark Guy” Marchant, sharks on shore activities, and color-changing squids. This STEM-focused event is perfect for anyone interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Located in Johnson City, Texas, The Science Mill is dedicated to educating families about STEM through interactive exhibits and programs. Since its opening in 2015, the museum has been committed to providing equal access to STEM education regardless of economic status or location.

The Science Mill is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
