DJI is taking a chance on a new industry: e-bikes

DJI, a leading technology company known for its drones and cameras, has recently entered the electric bike market with its new brand, Amflow Bikes. The company unveiled its first model in this line, the Amflow PL, at the Eurobike 2024 fair.

The Amflow PL electric mountain bike is equipped with the innovative DJI Avinox transmission system, allowing for smartphone control and monitoring of cycling activity. It also features a ‘Walk’ mode that prevents rolling back and provides start-up assistance, along with the ability to change gears while stationary. The Avinox system offers two battery options: one of 600 Wh and another of 800 Wh. The larger capacity battery weighs 2.87kg and can be charged from 0% to 75% in just 1.5 hours, thanks to its 12A/508W GaN charger.

The Amflow PL comes with a FOX-optimized rear shock and is compatible with both standard size wheels (63mm) as well as large diameter ones (73mm).
