Dover Health Expands into Chicago with New Acquisition of Hospice and Home Health Agencies

Dover Health, a subsidiary of The Dover Companies, has expanded into the Chicago region through the acquisition of Centered Care Hospice and Palliative Care and Cornerstone Home Health. This move allows the company to operate in nine Illinois counties in addition to their existing five-county presence in Missouri.

The mission of Dover Health is to support the well-being of seniors and their families by offering personalized, holistic health and wellness services. President Steven Burghart emphasized the importance of allocating time and resources for caregiving team members to engage with patients on a personal level.

Dover Health provides a comprehensive range of services, including support for terminally ill patients, to enhance quality of life and enable aging in place. The company’s growth strategy focuses on expanding in Midwestern markets, as stated by Brandy Pratt, vice president of hospice for the company. Patient-centered care is a core value for Dover Health, with a focus on timely admissions and regular visits by the care team to effectively and compassionately meet the needs of their patients.
