Ukraine Strikes Back at Russia: Attack on Crimea Kills Two-Year-Old, Injures 22

In the port city of Sevastopol, which is part of the Crimean Peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014, two people, including a two-year-old child, were killed and 22 others were injured in a Ukrainian missile attack on Sunday. The governor appointed by Moscow made the announcement. Sevastopol is a crucial logistical hub for the Russian army due to the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters.

In a separate incident in the Russian region of Belgorod near the Ukrainian border, one person was killed and three were wounded in attacks by Ukrainian drones, as reported by Governor Vyačeslav Gladkov on Sunday. This region is also a frequent target of Ukrainian attacks in response to perceived Russian aggression.

It’s important to note that both sides are engaged in military actions that result in casualties and injuries. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to impact civilians on both sides, leading to tragic outcomes like the recent incidents in Sevastopol and Belgorod.
