At the Eviden booth during ISC 2024, we were able to witness firsthand the bustling activity of Europe’s leading HPC-AI systems vendor. Our tour began with a business and customer update from Emmanuel Le Roux, the Eviden Group SVP and Head of Advanced Computing & AI. He shared exciting news about recent contract wins in Brazil, Denmark, and Germany, as well as updates on existing customers like the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.
Le Roux also highlighted Eviden’s recent achievements in the TOP500 list of the world’s most powerful supercomputers and the Green500 list of energy-efficient HPC systems. The Eviden JEDI development system at Julich, which is part of the upcoming Jupiter exascale supercomputer, secured the top position in the Green500 list. In addition to this, we received updates on Eviden’s HPC-AI servers, ranging from edge AI inference to data center HPC-class servers for model training.
During our tour, senior company managers also discussed Eviden’s quantum computing technology and their cloud-based Jarvice as-a-service product line. The breadth of innovations and achievements showcased by Eviden during our visit demonstrated their commitment to advancing the field of HPC-AI systems.
