In 2024, two exceptional individuals have been named the Legacy Award recipients by St. Joseph Health: Louis Humber and Dr. Scott Goble. Both have demonstrated a deep commitment to Franciscan values and have worked tirelessly to uphold the legacy of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio, who founded the health system 89 years ago.

For over 30 years, Louis Humber has served as a Maintenance Technician III at St. Joseph Health, consistently going above and beyond to meet the needs of the facility. His invaluable contributions have earned him respect and admiration from colleagues, patients, and the community alike, highlighting his significant impact on the hospital and health system.

Dr. Scott Goble has provided radiation oncology services to the Brazos Valley community for more than 20 years, demonstrating selfless dedication and unwavering commitment to his patients, colleagues, and the community. His exceptional leadership and care have made him a respected provider in the Brazos Valley.

The Legacy Award, now in its seventh year, recognizes individuals who embody the core values of St. Joseph Health and continue to uphold the legacy of its founding Sisters of St. Francis. This year’s recipients are a testament to their enduring commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery and their dedication to serving others with compassion and integrity.
