The Intersection of Investments, Energy Transition, and Sustainability in Mobility

On May 28, ANGI – National Association of Young Innovators, hosted a technical roundtable at the esteemed Chamber of Deputies. The theme of the event was “Innovation, mobility of the future, transport, logistics, and the European green deal”. The goal of the gathering was to bring together experts, academics, companies and institutions to discuss the future of mobility, energy transition and smart cities.

The event began with opening remarks from ANGI delegates including President Gabriele Ferrieri, DG Francesco Paolo Russo and member of the scientific committee Alessandro del Frate. Institutional greetings were given by Hon. Vigna who is President of the European Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.

Speakers from various sectors including Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, CNR, Enea and Presidency Council Ministers discussed institutional visions and execution plans related to mobility transition and smart cities. Representatives from business world including Enilive Volkswagen Group Italia Unindustria Poste SMET also shared their insights on investments in renewable sources security and future mobility. Academic trade association representatives also provided valuable input on these topics.

President Ferrieri expressed satisfaction with the participation emphasizing that this discussion is crucial in highlighting opportunities for innovation in smart cities and smart mobility. Ideas generated during this event will be shared with relevant bodies to support ecological digital transition.
