Exploring the Future of Work: ANGI’s Technical Table on Innovation and AI

Comparing perspectives and skills in innovation and work between AI and digital technologies

On Wednesday, July 3rd, ANGI – National Association of Young Innovators organized a technical table in collaboration with Cafasso & Figli studio on the theme “Innovation and work: scenarios and perspectives between AI and digital.” The main objective of the initiative was to bring together experts, academics, businesses, and institutions to discuss the world of work, the development of new skills, labor law perspectives, and implications for young people and businesses.

The session began with opening remarks from ANGI delegates led by President Gabriele Ferrieri and Alessandro del Frate of the scientific committee. Institutional greetings were also provided by Hon. Alessandro Giglio Vigna, President of the European Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, and Hon. Walter Rizzetto, President of the Public and Private Work Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.

Prof. Nino Carmine Cafasso’s testimony as President of AIS (Associazione Imprese di Servizi), Employment Lawyer, and Labor Consultant held significant importance during this roundtable discussion. He highlighted topics such as Zes (Special Economic Zones), the role of AI in shaping work patterns, public-private partnerships through project financing, employment prospects related to the cohesion decree, among others.

Experts from various fields then discussed institutional vision execution of ministerial projects alongside citizen projects related to workforce development skills acquisition investments. This part included inputs from individuals like Francesco Tufarelli, Paola Redenta Izzo, Vincenzo Di Nicola Gianpiero Ruggiero Alessandro Coppola William Nonnis amongst others.

Representatives from leading industries shared their insights on strengths weaknesses surrounding job creation skill development investment opportunities including Daniele Scoccia Andrea Catania Valeria Sassi Ciro Cafiero Gianpiero Tufilli Gian Luca Orefice amongst other professionals who provided valuable perspectives on these topics. Additionally trade associations academic experts contributed significantly towards discussions around these themes
