Fastest Heats, Stronger Competition: The U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials for Paris Games Set to Thrill Viewers on NBC and NBCOlympics.com

The U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials for the 2024 Paris Games will be broadcast live on NBC, NBCOlympics.com, the NBC Sports app, and Peacock from June 15-23 at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts. Qualifying heats will take place at 11 a.m. ET daily and will be aired live on Peacock, with semifinals and finals scheduled for 8 p.m. ET daily on NBC and Peacock. Coverage will also be available for streaming on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.

The top two athletes in each event are expected to secure a spot on the Olympic team individually if they have met the Olympic qualifying time standard. Up to the top six may make the team in the 100m and 200m freestyles for relays, making for an exciting competition.

Some of the top contenders at the Olympic Swimming Trials include renowned swimmers like Katie Ledecky, Caeleb Dressel, Regan Smith, Kate Douglass, Ryan Murphy, and Carson Foster.

Ledecky, a seven-time Olympic gold medalist, is expected to dominate in the 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m freestyle events at her fourth Olympics.

Dressel won five gold medals at Tokyo Games and is set to compete in the 50m and 100m freestyle events as well as the 100m butterfly.

Smith was a silver medalist in Tokyo Games and is expected to make a strong showing in multiple events.

Douglass was third place in Tokyo Games but has been performing well leading up to this event.

Murphy won two gold medals at Tokyo Games but was injured earlier this year.

Foster had an impressive showing at NCAA championships but has yet to reach his full potential.
