Ferrari Wins Le Mans 24 Hours Race for Second Straight Year, Defying Rain and Adversity

Ferrari successfully defends Le Mans title, outpacing Toyota in thrilling race

In the 92nd edition of the grueling endurance race at Le Mans, Ferrari emerged victorious for the second consecutive year, beating Toyota to claim the coveted 24 Hours race title. The race was marked by challenging wet conditions, but Ferrari’s number 50 car, driven by Nicklas Nielsen, managed to take the chequered flag despite almost running out of fuel.

Nielsen shared driving duties with Antonio Fuoco and Miguel Molina, securing Ferrari’s win in a closely fought battle with Toyota’s number seven GR010 hybrid. The race was once again affected by rain, with persistent showers overnight leading to long yellow flag periods that slowed down the action.

Despite these challenges, Ferrari remained focused and determined to defend their title. With just an hour remaining on the clock, Nielsen gained a commanding 30-second lead and ultimately secured the win in a thrilling finale.

Porsche’s pole car finished in fourth place, just over a second behind Ferrari’s number 51 car, while Toyota’s number eight car rounded out the top five finishers in this epic battle of endurance racing champions.
