David Peyrou and Nicolas Barrioz, two friends from France, spent five years making their dream a reality by building the world’s tallest rideable bicycle. The bike stands at 25 feet and 5 inches high, surpassing the previous record by 1 foot and 2 inches. The idea for the bike came to them while they were at a pub, and they quickly began creating designs and finding materials.
Building the bike was no easy task. Barrioz expressed the difficulties they faced during the process, but he also shared that it was all worth it in the end. After completion, the giant bicycle was officially certified as the tallest in the world by Guinness World Records. Barrioz believes this project has changed his perspective on himself and his abilities, boosting his self-confidence and making him feel unstoppable. He now believes he can repair, build or design anything he sets his mind to. This experience has had a profound impact on his life, and he will always cherish it as one of his greatest achievements.
