Baseball fans will be in for a treat as the sectional playoff semifinals take place across different classes. In Class A, Central Valley Academy will face off against Camden at OCC, while Westhill and Jamesville-DeWitt will battle it out at OCC. Class B will see Lowville take on Phoenix, and Little Falls compete against Clinton. In Class C, Pulaski will play West Canada Valley at Donovan Stadium at Murnane, while Mount Markham will face off against Bishop Ludden. Class D games will also be held at Donovan Stadium at Murnane, with Lyme taking on Belleville Henderson and Poland playing against Oriskany.
Lacrosse fans can also catch the action as the sectional playoff semifinals are set to take place in various classes. In Class A at West Genesee, Cicero-North Syracuse will go up against Liverpool, and Baldwinsville will face off against Fayetteville-Manlius. Class B matchups at Baldwinsville include East Syracuse Minoa playing Watertown and Christian Brothers Academy competing against West Genesee. Class C at Fayetteville-Manlius features Homer against South Jefferson and Carthage against Jamesville-DeWitt. In Class D at Chittenango, Westhill will play Skaneateles and General Brown will face off against Marcellus.
Tennis enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Division II state team quarterfinal featuring Cazenovia taking on Plattsburgh. Softball fans can catch sectional playoff semifinals in various classes such as Fayetteville-Manlius vs Whitesboro in Class AA and Jamesville-DeWitt vs Camden in Class A.
