From Buckeye to Wildcat and Back: Northwestern Linebacker Returns to Ohio State

Former Ohio State linebacker transferring to Northwestern

Northwestern linebacker Nigel Glover has decided to transfer back to Ohio State after spending just one year with the Wildcats. Glover originally committed to Ohio State out of high school before transferring to Northwestern last season following the departure of head coach Pat Fitzgerald. Unfortunately, Glover struggled to find his place at Northwestern as a redshirt freshman, with a talented roster that included players like C.J. Hicks, Cody Simon, Sonny Styles, and Gabe Powers.

With limited playing time and the emergence of new talent on the Buckeyes roster, Glover saw the opportunity to return to Ohio State as a chance to make a fresh start under new head coach David Braun. The Buckeyes had a successful season, and the move back to his original school seemed like the best option for Glover at this time.
