Meanwhile, Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover, has announced a new tour called “The New World Tour,” featuring special guest Willow Smith. The tour includes a performance at TD Garden in Boston on August 23, 2024.
Tickets for the Boston show will go on sale to the general public on May 17, with American Express Card Members getting early access. This tour marks Glover’s first since 2019, following the release of his reissued album “Atavista,” which features new tracks and guest appearances.
Glover is known for hits like “3005,” “Redbone,” and “This is America.” Despite taking a break from music since his last album release, he has been less active in the music scene due to other commitments like his role as Simba in The Lion King remake. However, he has made appearances on other songs and released a soundtrack for the show he co-created, “Swarm.”
