On Monday, April 22, students from Gatesville Junior High’s Science Club and National Junior Honor Society joined forces to celebrate Earth Day by participating in a community clean-up and Adopt-a-Highway program. The students worked together to make a positive impact on their environment by collecting trash and debris, helping to beautify their community.
The collaboration between the two clubs allowed students to not only give back to their community but also to learn about the importance of taking care of the environment. By participating in these activities, the students were able to see firsthand the impact that their actions can have on the world around them.
Through their hard work and dedication, the students of Gatesville Junior High were able to make a tangible difference in their community and promote environmental stewardship among their peers. It was a rewarding experience for all involved, and a great way to celebrate Earth Day and give back to the community.
