Johns Island community enhances pedestrian experience with addition of new businesses

Hayes Park, a pedestrian-focused community in Johns Island, is set to expand its commercial and retail offerings with the addition of new businesses. This development has reached a significant milestone in creating a live/work/socialize lifestyle by adding twelve new businesses to its roster.

These businesses are located in the Marketplace, a series of Lowcountry-style buildings surrounding a town center. New Leaf Builders, the developer behind Hayes Park, will have its Design Center located within the community. Other businesses that will be located in Hayes Park include custom builders, a wine bar, a butcher shop, an interiors design firm, a market, and more.

Adam Baslow, the owner of New Leaf Builders, emphasized the focus on connectivity in creating Hayes Park. The community will feature distinct home styles situated among century-old live oaks, with a total of 56 residences in various designs once fully occupied.
