Honoring Alamo Heroes: The 2024 Fiesta Medal Goes on Sale in San Antonio

As part of the annual Fiesta San Antonio celebration, the 2024 UT Health San Antonio Fiesta medal will be on sale from April 15-26. This tradition continues to honor the heroes of the Alamo and is a citywide event that has been going on for over a century.

The 2024 Fiesta medal is priced at $10, while previous years’ medals can be purchased for $5. Payments can only be made with cash or checks made out to UT Health San Antonio.

Medals can be purchased at various locations on the Greehey and Long campuses. On the Greehey Campus, medals can be bought at UT Dentistry’s Center for Oral Health & Research (COHR) and the Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute. On the Long Campus, volunteers will be selling Fiesta medals at specific locations and dates from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For more information or questions about the Fiesta medal sales, contact Cindi Adcock at adcockc@uthscsa.edu or 210-567-2003.
