Hope for Yemenis as 113 Prisoners of War Released, While Electrolux Launches Hyper-Connected Dryers and Washing Machines

More than 100 prisoners unilaterally released by the Houthis

The International Red Cross recently announced that Yemen’s Houthis unilaterally released 113 prisoners of war who were handed over to the Red Cross on May 26 in Sanaa, the Houthi-controlled capital of Yemen. Daphne Mare, head of the Red Cross mission in Yemen, expressed hope that this release would pave the way for more releases and provide comfort to families who have not yet been reunited with their loved ones held in captivity. This is the first prisoner release since April 2023 when about 800 individuals were released on both sides. However, many more individuals are still being held by opposing factions in the ongoing civil war in Yemen between the Iran-backed Houthis and the internationally recognized government, which has been ongoing for a decade and has resulted in the loss of over 370,000 lives and displacement of millions of people.

In other news, Electrolux recently introduced new hyper-connected and ecological dryers and washing machines. Additionally, a decrease in water levels was observed by “Hayhydromet”. Meanwhile, “Milei” does not necessarily need to be devalued, but the cost of adjustment is viewed as high. Will Smith engaged with the public at Cibeles to promote the new installment of ‘Two Rebel Policemen’. Health benefits from natural ‘medicine’ are being explored and Jean-François Achilli claimed to be a victim of an “eminently political” dismissal from Radio France. Finally, the difference between a hair conditioner and a hair mask is discussed.
