Huawei made a remarkable comeback in the smartphone market in 2023, despite facing restrictions on accessing high-end technology from American suppliers since 2019. The Chinese telecommunications company showcased one of the largest displays at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2024 and reported that its net profit for 2023 more than doubled, attributing this success to better product offerings and a 9.6% year-on-year revenue growth to 704.2 billion yuan ($99.18 billion).
