In-Demand: Federico Chiesa Said to be Meeting with Roma’s Directors as Juventus Consider Selling Him

Roma in talks with Chiesa’s agent, advancing ahead of Napoli

Federico Chiesa is an Italy international winger who has been attracting interest from several clubs in the upcoming transfer window. Today, his agent met with the directors of Roma to discuss a potential move for the player. While talks with Juventus are still in the early stages, Napoli is also interested in acquiring Chiesa’s services.

According to reports, Chiesa does not fit into new coach Thiago Motta’s plans at Juventus and the club is looking to sell him this summer before his contract expires in 2025. Initially, it was thought that Napoli was leading the race for Chiesa, especially after Antonio Conte was appointed as their new coach. However, Rome has emerged as a potential destination for the winger following today’s meeting between his agent and the club’s directors.

Daniele De Rossi, Roma’s coach, sees potential in Chiesa despite his struggles under Max Allegri at Juventus. There is a belief that Chiesa could thrive under De Rossi’s guidance at Roma. In addition to Roma and Juventus, other clubs such as Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Milan could also make a move for Chiesa in the upcoming transfer window.
