The total prize money for the tournament has more than doubled from USD 5.6 million in 2022 to USD 11.25 million this year, meaning an increase in awards for all 20 participating teams across the board.
As runners-up, South Africa will receive USD 1.28 million, which is a notable increase from their prize money awarded in 2022. Losing semi-finalists Afghanistan and England will each receive USD 787,500 also a significant increase from previous years. This increase in prize money reflects a commitment to recognizing and rewarding players’ achievements throughout the tournament.
