Denver7 is currently investigating a crash involving a Denver Health ambulance in Englewood on Tuesday afternoon. The ambulance was transporting a patient to Swedish Medical Center when it collided with another vehicle at Logan St and the Hampden Bypass around 4:30 p.m.
As a result of the crash, Denver Health dispatched three additional ambulances to the scene, one for the initial patient and two for new patients involved in the accident. However, Denver Health did not provide details on the number of additional patients or injuries sustained in the crash.
