Israeli Army Issues New Evacuation Order for Gaza Strip Towns Amid Ongoing Violence

Israel orders new evacuation in Khan Younis and Rafah during Gaza War

The Israeli army has issued a new evacuation order for towns in the Khan Younis and Rafah governorates in the southern Gaza Strip, where many Palestinians were previously forced to flee due to fighting. This followed 20 projectiles being fired at Israeli soil from the Khan Younis region earlier in the day by the al-Quds Brigades, who claimed responsibility for the attacks on Israeli localities around Gaza.

Residents and displaced persons in the affected areas were urged to evacuate promptly, with witnesses reporting that many had already left after receiving the evacuation order. The evacuation came after Israel’s ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, which aimed to weaken Hamas with whom they have been engaged in conflict. The war began after an attack by Hamas on Israeli soil, resulting in significant casualties on both sides.

The ongoing conflict has led to a significant loss of life, with thousands of Palestinians, mostly civilians, being affected by the violence. Despite this, tensions remain high as Israel continues its operations in the region.
