In a TikTok clip posted by Dr. Brenda Combs, Foxx revealed that he has almost no memory of the incident. He recounted a bad headache on April 11 last year, asking a friend for an Advil and then blacking out for 20 days. Foxx mentioned that his sister and daughter took him to a doctor in Atlanta where he received a cortisone shot.
Foxx was hesitant to share more details and cryptically stated that he did not want to share everything on camera. However, he did mention plans to share his health crisis in a humorous way on stage in a show he called “What Had Happened Was.”
In July, Foxx released an emotional video update about his experience and why he initially kept quiet about it. His daughter, Corinne Foxx, had previously announced his hospitalization while filming a Netflix movie in Atlanta.
