Despite a shaky start, West Indies found some stability thanks to the efforts of Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran. In the second over, Alei Nao dismissed Johnson Charles for a duck, leaving the team struggling to find their rhythm. However, King managed to steady the innings with a crucial innings of 34 runs off 29 balls before being caught by Lega Siaka off the bowling of captain Assad Vala.
Pooran also contributed with a valuable 27 runs before being dismissed by John Kariko, caught by Tony Ura. Despite the early wobble, West Indies will be looking to build on this partnership and push on towards their target. The team seemed unsure of themselves in the early stages of their innings, but King and Pooran provided some much-needed stability.
