Lazio’s Dilemma: To Sign Greenwood or Samardzic this Summer?

Lazio Faces Decision Between Manchester United Winger and Udinese Star

Lazio is currently deciding between signing Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood or Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic this summer. Both young players are viewed as potential additions to the squad, with Greenwood possibly replacing Felipe Anderson on the wings and Samardzic seen as a possible successor to Luis Alberto.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà believes that Lazio will prioritize signing Samardzic over Greenwood. The club may be able to secure the Serbian midfielder for around €20 million, but they will face competition from Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce. While Samardzic is said to prefer staying in Italy, Lazio must act quickly to speed up negotiations with Udinese before missing out on the opportunity.

Aside from their pursuit of Samardzic, Lazio is also working on finalizing deals for other players. They must complete a deal for Hellas Verona’s Tijjani Noslin by June 30th and resume talks for Juan Cabal. In addition, they are close to signing Hatayspor’s Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, as negotiations with the Turkish club are nearing completion. With the transfer window closing soon, Lazio must act swiftly to secure their targets before it’s too late.
