Let’s Move Campaign Bids Farewell to Olympic Day, While IOC Young Leaders Programme Empowers the Next Generation for Sustainable Living

The Let’s Move campaign, which aims to encourage more people to lead active and healthy lifestyles, is set to end on Olympic Day (June 23) as a prelude to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Building on the success of last year’s campaign, which saw over 15 million individuals embrace the joy of movement and healthy living, this initiative will involve the participation of more than 1,000 athletes.

Meanwhile, the IOC Young Leaders Programme continues to empower young individuals around the world to use sport as a tool for positive change in their communities. This program aligns with Olympism365, the IOC’s strategy for using sport to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Since its launch in 2016, young leaders have implemented over 160 sport-based projects globally, benefiting more than 37,000 individuals in areas such as education, equality, health, peace building, and sustainability.

Panasonic has been supporting this program since 2017 as a worldwide Olympic Partner and will continue until 2024. As the founding partner of the program, Panasonic provides creative and technological expertise along with a network of influencers and ambassadors to inspire and equip young leaders with the necessary skills and tools for their projects. To learn more about Panasonic’s support for this program and receive updates on upcoming events sign up for the “IOC Young Leaders in Action” newsletter.
