Magic Snag Former Spartans Guard Gary Harris for Two More Years

According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Gary Harris has agreed to a two-year, $14 million contract with the Orlando Magic. The former Spartans star will be returning for his fifth season with the Magic, marking his 11th year in the NBA. During the last season, Harris played in 54 games and averaged 6.9 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.

In a tweet, Wojnarowski announced the deal, saying: “Free agent guard Gary Harris has agreed to a two-year, $14 million contract to stay with the Orlando Magic.” The news was met with excitement from fans on Twitter, who praised Harris’s contributions to the team over the past four years.

Harris started his career with the Denver Nuggets before joining the Magic in 2020. He quickly became a key player for the team, providing scoring and defense on both ends of the court. This upcoming season will be his fifth with the Magic and his 11th overall in the NBA.
