Mom’s the Word: Honoring Exceptional Sports Moms on Mother’s Day

Are you familiar with a hardworking mother in the sports community who deserves recognition? For the sixth year in a row, we are honoring an exceptional “Sports Mom of the Year” by featuring her on Mother’s Day, which falls on May 12th. To nominate a mother for this esteemed award, simply submit her name and a brief explanation of why she should be named “Sports Mom of the Year” before 9 p.m. on May 3rd.

Last year, the award was shared between Crystal Clark and Amy Dinwiddie. Past winners include Susie Strange (2018), Kris Scheeps (2017), Kathy Loggan (2016), and Angie Young (2015).
