In the early hours of Monday morning, June 17th, a masked thief broke into Propst Superette Store #5 at 3890 Section House Road in Catawba County. The incident occurred and the suspect proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of merchandise. The suspect left the scene and was last seen running towards Conover.
The sheriff’s office is seeking help from the public in solving this crime. The suspect was described as wearing a black cut-off hoodie with a white short-sleeve t-shirt underneath, a black mask, white gloves, cargo shorts, and white sneakers.
