NASCAR Racing Action Heats Up at Martinsville Speedway this Weekend

The NASCAR series will be in full swing this weekend at Martinsville Speedway, with the Truck, Xfinity and Cup teams all set to race. The Truck teams will kick off the action on Friday afternoon, followed by the Xfinity series on Saturday and the Cup teams on Sunday. Last season saw Corey Heim win the Truck race, John Hunter Nemechek take the spring Xfinity race and Kyle Larson win the spring Cup race at Martinsville.

The weather forecast for the weekend is looking good, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 47 degrees for Friday’s Truck race, mostly sunny skies and a high of 58 degrees for Saturday’s Xfinity race, and sunny skies with a high of 62 degrees for Sunday’s Cup race. Last weekend at Richmond, there was a mix of wet weather tires and racing slicks during the Cup race.

The schedule for this weekend at Martinsville Speedway is as follows: Truck series practice and qualifying on Friday, followed by Xfinity series practice and qualifying later that day. On Saturday, there will be Cup series practice and qualifying in the morning before the Xfinity race in the afternoon. Finally, on Sunday, there will be a Cup race in the afternoon.

Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney are both part of winning teams when it comes to racing at Martinsville Speedway. This special bond between them is sure to add an extra layer of excitement to this action-packed weekend as they look forward to getting back behind the wheel of their respective cars. Fans can expect thrilling races from all three NASCAR series as they make their way around this iconic Virginia track.
